Christmas Cards 2013

I fell in love with the “chalk art” or “chalkboard” look and wanted to use that theme for Christmas cards. After finding “The Chalkboard Stack” at Walmart by DCWV, I thought this paper would be perfect. I tried many markers, and crayons trying to get a bright, crisp, chalk look. *Though this paper is nice and thick it is not suitable for Versamark heat embossing because it gives off a strong chemical odor when heated. I settled on die cut stencils I made and white sharpie paint markers. (fine & medium tip).

I also tried this poinsettia on transparency method and made a set of cards for a friend and my beautician.
